Meet Dr. Nicole Gordon

Dr. Nicole (Thornton) Gordon has enjoyed living in the Tampa Bay area almost all her life. She attended grade school in New Port Richey, and college at University of South Florida in Tampa. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Louisville. She lives in Palm Harbor with her husband of 16 years, Rusty, and their young son.

Prior to establishing her restorative dental practice in Palm Harbor, Dr. Gordon completed numerous hours of courses in post-graduate dentistry. She is dedicated to the newest advancements in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies. Dr. Gordon is committed to the overall health of every patient. Because of the dental-medical connection, she strives to understand her patients as a whole before diagnosing their oral health. Patient education plays a large role in her dental practice. With the right tools for decision-making regarding their dental health, Dr. Gordon feels confident that patients can achieve a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Dr. Gordon is a member of the American Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Upper Pinellas Dental Association and the Palm Harbor Rotary Club. She volunteers at Palm Harbor University High School Center for Wellness and Medical Professions as a member of The Professional Advisory Board and as a student mentor. She also volunteers with Palm Harbor Montessori Academy and the Gulf Coast Dental Outreach program. The Gulf Coast Dental Outreach is a community dental project that has helped hundreds of low-income dental patients afford quality dental care.

Dr. Gordon and her husband have been married for 16 years and enjoy outdoor activities. When they are away from their Palm Harbor home on the beautiful west coast of Florida, they are usually traveling to a mountainous region to share their love of the outdoors with their son.
